The Pakistan Meteorological Department warned that hot weather conditions would intensify across most plains over the next two to three days, with daytime temperatures likely to remain above normal.
The Met Office said temperatures in southern and central Punjab were expected to remain 3°C to 5°C above normal.

The upper districts of Sindh and the northeastern and southern districts of Balochistan were forecast to record temperatures 2°C to 4°C above normal, according to the PMD.
In Sindh, the maximum temperature could reach 46°C in Dadu, while Nawabshah and Sukkur were expected to record up to 45°C, the Met Office said.

The PMD forecast said temperatures could rise above 40°C in Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Sargodha and Lahore.

Karachi, Sindh, was experiencing hot and humid weather, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 37°C.
