Mashal Yousafzai, the provincial advisor, legal license has been suspended again following a decision made by the Pakistan Bar Council.
The decision overturns a previous order by Shah Faisal Atmankhel, the Chairman of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, which had temporarily restored Yousafzai’s legal practice rights.
The disciplinary proceedings against Yousafzai began when the Disciplinary Committee of the KP Bar Council initially decided to suspend his license.
Yousafzai appealed this decision, leading to Chairman Atmankhel suspending the disciplinary action. However, this relief was short-lived, as the Pakistan Bar Council intervened to uphold the original suspension imposed by the Disciplinary Committee.
