Netflix cancelled shows 2026 updates now include “Emily in Paris,” with the streamer confirming the Lily Collins-led romantic comedy will end after season 6.
Netflix said production on the final season has begun in Greece. Star Lily Collins said season 6 would serve as the final chapter in Emily Cooper’s story, according to Netflix’s Tudum announcement.
The update comes as Netflix continues to trim or conclude several original titles in 2026. Tracking site What’s on Netflix has listed multiple shows cancelled or confirmed to be ending this year, including “Beauty in Black,” “Breathless”, and “Survival of the Thickest.”
“The Vince Staples Show,” “Terminator Zero,” “Alice in Borderland,” “Selling the City,” “Miss Governor” and “With Love, Meghan” among titles facing cancellations or endings.
Netflix is still developing “Fester,” a “Wednesday” spin-off focused on Uncle Fester, played by Fred Armisen. Armisen said on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in August 2025 that work on the project was continuing.

“The Addams Family” and “The Addams Family 2” were leaving Netflix’s US catalogue after a short run. The animated films feature Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, Finn Wolfhard, Nick Kroll and Snoop Dogg in voice roles.
Netflix has become more selective as streaming platforms balance production costs with audience retention.
