Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said his health is improving after a routine medical procedure in Abu Dhabi and that he expects to return to Pakistan soon.
Nasir Shah said he travelled to Abu Dhabi four to five days ago for a minor pre-scheduled procedure. He said doctors successfully performed the procedure and discharged him from the hospital two days ago.
The minister said social media reports about his health had caused concern among supporters. He thanked people who contacted him by phone, message and prayer.
Earlier, Sukkur District Council Chairman Syed Kumail Haider Shah rejected reports that his father was in intensive care. He said the ICU claims were false and that Nasir Hussain Shah was in good health.

Kumail Haider Shah said the minister had travelled to Abu Dhabi for a routine medical check-up and pre-scheduled procedure. He said the procedure was successful.
