ISLAMABAD: NADRA Pak ID vehicle services now include digital registration cards and biometric verification for buying and selling Balochistan-registered vehicles.
The National Database and Registration Authority introduced the facilities through version 5.6.8 of its Pak ID mobile application.
NADRA developed the update in collaboration with the Government of Balochistan. Vehicle owners can access digital registration cards for vehicles registered in Balochistan directly through the application.
Buyers and sellers can also complete the biometric authentication required for vehicle transactions remotely. NADRA said the facility removes the need to visit an office for the verification stage.
The services currently apply only to vehicles registered in Balochistan. NADRA has not announced their availability for vehicles registered in Islamabad or other provinces.
The update follows Pak ID version 5.6.6, which introduced a “View Card” feature. It allows identity card applicants to review their information and correct errors before submitting their applications.

That version also launched digital registration for births, deaths, marriages and divorces across village and neighbourhood councils in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. NADRA plans to expand those civil-registration services across the province in phases.
