MADINAH, Saudi Arabia: The NADRA Madinah office will resume services for Pakistani nationals on Sunday, July 12, 2026, after a temporary suspension during the Hajj season.
The National Database and Registration Authority said it suspended operations in line with directives issued by Saudi authorities during the annual pilgrimage period.
Pakistani citizens living in Madinah and nearby areas will again be able to access identity-document services from the reopening date.

NADRA also said that overseas Pakistanis can apply for the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP). The card serves as an official identity document for Pakistani citizens living abroad.
According to the authority, newer NICOP versions contain a secure microchip, stronger security features and improved durability. A QR code-enabled version is also available to support faster verification of cardholder information.
