Mourinho Real Madrid return plans moved into the election spotlight after Florentino Pérez’s campaign shared a video showing José Mourinho signalling his willingness to coach the club again.
The Portuguese coach appeared in a Real Madrid shirt on the campaign’s official Instagram account and said “Yes,” a message widely viewed as approval for a return to the Santiago Bernabéu if Pérez wins Sunday’s presidential election.
The source report said Mourinho also indicated he would sign defender Ibrahima Konaté, who is leaving Liverpool. Pérez has separately said a new signing would be announced later this week if he remains in charge.

The announcement came as rival candidate Enrique Riquelme unveiled his own plans on Antena 3. Riquelme pledged to sign Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Spain midfielder Rodri if he wins the Real Madrid presidency on June 7.
Riquelme displayed a Real Madrid shirt with Haaland’s name and the number nine. He said Rodri fits a position Real Madrid needs and added that talks with Manchester City and the player’s representatives would begin next Monday if he wins.
