Momina Iqbal cyber harassment case has been registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lawmaker Saqib Chadhar under PECA.
The case was filed after actor and model Momina Iqbal approached the NCCIA with a complaint against the Punjab Assembly member. The FIR alleged cyber harassment, blackmail and threats against Iqbal and her family.
According to the FIR, Chadhar, his wife, and several associates allegedly subjected Iqbal to unlawful surveillance and threats. The complaint said Iqbal had declined Chadhar’s marriage proposal after learning he was already married.
The FIR alleged that Chadhar later blackmailed Iqbal by sending private videos and threatening to leak her personal data if she did not agree to marry him. Investigators also alleged that he made false accusations against her in 2023, causing a previous marriage proposal to collapse.

According to the complaint, threatening messages were sent to Iqbal, her current husband, her sister and other family members. The FIR said messages were traced to a phone number associated with Chadhar.
The FIR said blackmail videos were recovered from Iqbal’s mobile phone. Her sister, a lawyer, also submitted a video related to the alleged threats, while the phone and video were sent for forensic examination.
The FIR further alleged that Chadhar deleted data and applications from his mobile phone before submitting the device to the NCCIA. Iqbal had earlier approached the Lahore Police Station with similar allegations of harassment, blackmail and death threats.
