An army aviation helicopter crashed near Multan airport after it is believed it developed technical problems.

Two pilots were on board, Pilot Major Yasir and co-pilot Captain Murtuza were martyred in the crash. The helicopter was on a regular night training mission when strong winds engulfed it and it lost control.
