John Gotti III’s defiance against Floyd Mayweather Jr. persisted even after the referee ended the bout due to incessant trash-talking between rounds, which sparked a large-scale scuffle akin to the WWE Royal Rumble.
Throughout the fight, Mayweather, aged 46, was seemingly toying with Gotti, an approach that the notorious mob boss’s grandson didn’t take lightly.
The referee cautioned Gotti’s corner between the fifth and sixth rounds, declaring that the fight would be halted if the verbal provocations continued.
