Masters of the Universe” appears to set up Stratos for a possible sequel through a distress call from Avion in the film’s final scenes.
The heroes receive the call from Avion, home of the bird people, and head out to help. The scene creates a direct opening for Stratos if the story continues.
Stratos is known in the franchise as the leader of Avion and one of He-Man’s close allies. The character can fly, move with high agility and fire blasts from his hands.
The character appeared in the original animated series and later returned in other versions of the franchise. For example, he was in the 200X series and “Masters of the Universe: Revelation.”
Stratos has not yet appeared in live-action. A sequel could also build on other teased characters, including Orko and She-Ra, no follow-up film has been confirmed.
Amazon MGM Studios says “Masters of the Universe” opened exclusively in U.S. theatres on June 5, 2026. There will be an international rollout by Sony Pictures International Releasing. The studio lists Travis Knight as director of the live-action film.
