Musician Machine Gun Kelly said he badly injured his back after fans failed to catch him during a stage-dive attempt at his Hartford, Connecticut, tour stop.
The artist, born Colson Baker, shared the update on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, June 9. He said he was struggling to stand, lift items and move without using his arms for support.
The incident happened during his “Lost Americana Tour” stop in Hartford three days earlier. CT Insider listed the Hartford show at Xfinity Theatre for Saturday, June 6, with Wiz Khalifa and DE’WAYNE on the bill.

Kelly told fans he did not plan to cancel upcoming shows. He said any unusual movement onstage should not be read as a lack of effort, but as the result of the injury.
The “Lost Americana Tour” supports MGK’s seventh studio album, “Lost Americana.” The official tour page lists the remaining 2026 stops in Grand Rapids, Noblesville, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, Boise, Vancouver, Auburn and Ridgefield.
