The Lahore High Court on Wednesday refrained Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from an illegally and unconstitutionally ‘Azadi march’ on August 14
The Lahore High Court said, “We also want protection of people, hence the court cannot allow closure of the country”.
The Lahore High Court issued directives while hearing a petition against placement of containers on different points of Punjab by administration for security purpose.
The LHC in early today allowed PTI to go on with its Azadi march under constitutional limits.
The PTI lawyer Ahmed Owais claimed that the court did not bar the party from carrying out Azadi march.
