Lahore Police are investigating a Lahore Defence body case after a man identified as Adil was found dead inside a car in the Defence area.
A spokesperson for DIG Operations said statements from the deceased’s family indicated family disputes and mental stress.
The family told police that Adil had been suffering from anxiety for some time. The police sources stated that applications had also been filed against the deceased at various institutions.
Police said a uniform found in the vehicle belonged to Sub-Inspector Tahir, who is posted in South Cantonment.

The deceased and Sub-Inspector Tahir were friends, according to the report. Investigators are examining the motive and background of the incident from different angles.
Police said initial evidence pointed to suicide rather than murder. The final findings will be issued upon completion of the investigation.
