The State Bank of Pakistan has announced that all commercial banks and financial institutions nationwide will be closed on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
The closure coincides with the national public holiday of International Workers’ Day, a date recognised worldwide to honour workers’ contributions and rights.
The central bank has announced that all commercial banks and financial institutions will suspend operations for the day. Customers are encouraged to plan their banking activities accordingly.
