Kim Scott, the former wife of rapper Eminem, was reportedly tased and arrested after police responded to a mental health emergency at her Michigan home.
TMZ, citing a police report, said officers arrived after a relative called emergency services and reported that Scott had injured herself and required assistance.
Police described the 51-year-old as distressed and combative when officers attempted to restrain her. The report alleged that she resisted, bit one officer and kicked another during the encounter.
Officers used a taser before arresting Scott on suspicion of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer, according to TMZ.
Emergency personnel later transported her to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Her current medical condition has not been disclosed.
Scott, previously known as Kim Mathers, has faced earlier mental health emergencies, including hospitalisation following a police response in July 2021.
