Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott, was hospitalised after fainting and suffering uncontrolled bleeding at her Michigan home on Saturday evening, according to an emergency services report obtained by TMZ.
Paramedics responded at about 8 p.m. local time and transported the 51-year-old to McLaren Macomb Hospital. Her condition had not yet been disclosed.
TMZ said the Chesterfield Fire/EMS document referred to a possible haemorrhage or laceration. Footage published by the outlet showed paramedics moving Scott from the property on a gurney.
The medical emergency followed recent legal difficulties. Police arrested Scott in May on suspicion of driving under the influence after an alleged collision with a parked vehicle in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
A police report cited by TMZ recorded a blood-alcohol level of 0.204, above Michigan’s legal limit of 0.08. Authorities briefly held her at the Macomb County Jail.
A court later issued a warrant after Scott missed a DUI hearing in June. TMZ subsequently reported that the warrant had been dismissed.
Scott was married twice to rapper Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Mathers. Their first marriage lasted from 1999 to 2001, while their second ended in 2006.
