KARACHI, Sindh: The Facebook page Karachi Stories apologised to Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon for incorrect information linking him and his son to the Mir Raza Ali case.
The page expressed regret for publishing the material and acknowledged that the information about Memon was false.
The development followed Memon’s August 9 complaint to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) against unidentified social media accounts. He accused them of circulating allegedly false and malicious material involving him and his son.
The complaint also disputed claims about changes to the medical board and alleged efforts to obstruct the investigation into Mir Raza Ali’s case. Memon asked the NCCIA to obtain IP logs and SIM data linked to the accounts and preserve relevant digital records.
Separately, the NCCIA Karachi office summoned four people in connection with the alleged dissemination of defamatory and fabricated material about Memon on digital platforms.
The agency issued notices to Syed Abdullah, Amin Qureshi, Bilal Warisi and Ubaid Qureshi, directing them to appear at its Karachi office at 11:30 a.m. on August 13.

The four were instructed to bring their original Computerised National Identity Cards, relevant documents and evidence and their digital devices.
