The Karachi Traffic Police has announced a detailed traffic plan in anticipation of IDEAS 2024. This plan includes road closures like Sir Shah Muhammad Suleman Road from Hassan Square to the Stadium, which will be operational from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Access to roads around the Expo Centre will be restricted to small vehicles, and heavy vehicles will be barred.

The exhibition, hosted by the Defence Export Promotion Organisation under the Ministry of Defence and Defence Production, will display advanced defence equipment and technologies from global firms, enhancing Pakistan’s international defence profile.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and numerous global defence leaders will attend. The event will focus on defence production and exports, a key area supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council. It aims to foster international defence collaborations.
