KARACHI: Police arrested a Karachi road rage suspect in the Defence Housing Authority after he allegedly damaged a food delivery rider’s motorcycle with a hockey stick and threatened him.
Police detained the man during a raid in Badar Commercial and impounded the car allegedly used during the incident. Officers claimed he had been preparing to leave Karachi for another city before the arrest.
The confrontation began after a minor collision between the suspect’s car and the rider’s motorcycle, according to police. The driver allegedly exited his vehicle and repeatedly struck the motorcycle with a hockey stick, causing substantial damage.

Investigators have begun legal proceedings and are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision and subsequent confrontation. Authorities had not publicly disclosed the suspect’s name, the applicable First Information Report sections or a court appearance date at the time of publication.
