KARACHI, Sindh: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast Karachi rain with thunder for Saturday afternoon or evening as cloudy conditions continue across the city.
The department expects temperatures to reach 36°C after Karachi recorded a minimum of 29.5°C. It measured humidity at 82%, and sea breezes at eight kilometres per hour.
The Karachi-specific outlook also calls for cloudy skies during the next 24 hours.
A depression over eastern Madhya Pradesh will likely move west during the next 24 to 36 hours. Monsoon currents continue to enter Pakistan’s eastern and central regions, the department said.
PMD’s weekly outlook for August 1 forecasts rain, wind and thundershowers across Sindh. It also indicates isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall.
