Karachi, Sindh: A Karachi couple killed in Malir had reportedly contracted a love marriage before unidentified gunmen opened fire on their vehicle, police said.
The shooting took place within the limits of the Saudabad police station. Officials said both victims died at the scene, and police found their bodies in the back seat of the car.
Investigators found multiple bullet marks on different parts of the vehicle. Initial findings suggested the attackers fired from both sides, indicating a targeted assault.
Police said the couple had reportedly left their homes before getting married and later settled in Karachi. Investigators have not yet confirmed the motive behind the attack.
Law enforcement teams collected forensic evidence from the crime scene. Police said no arrests had been made so far.
