On Thursday, the Karachi Commissioner established the official prices for roti and naan and declared that violators would face strict penalties.
A 120-gram naan is now priced at Rs17.
According to the notification, the price of 100-gram chapatis is Rs 12. Tandoor owners must display these prices prominently.
Commissioner Hassan Naqvi emphasized that stringent measures will be implemented to counter non-compliance.
