KARACHI: A thief stole a police officer’s car battery from an apartment complex in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on July 18, CCTV footage reviewed by police showed.
The Karachi car battery theft occurred at Kareem Square Apartments in Block 13-D, within the jurisdiction of Aziz Bhatti Police Station.
The surveillance footage showed a motorcycle-riding suspect entering the apartment complex, surveying the surroundings, then parking his motorcycle.

Police officials are examining the CCTV recording to identify the suspect. Authorities are expected to take further legal action once investigators establish his identity.
Other battery thefts have been reported in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, where suspects have targeted parked vehicles after entering residential streets and apartment compounds on motorcycles.
