Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber have officially announced they are expecting their first child. This confirmation comes after numerous rumours, the latest sparked by a viral video from July 2023.
Shortly after the Biebers shared their news, Selena Gomez posted on Instagram about her new cooking show on Max, avoiding any direct comment on the baby announcement. She restricted her post’s comments to close friends only.
Gomez, founder of Rare Beauty, also used her Instagram stories to affirm her relationship with American producer Benny Blanco. She posted a photo of them holding hands, signalling stability amidst the media stir.
The Biebers revealed their pregnancy through an Instagram video of their vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii. In the video, Hailey appeared in a Saint Laurent lace dress with a veil, her baby bump visible. Justin was dressed casually in a T-shirt, black jeans, a bomber jacket, and a backward baseball cap.
They also shared serene outdoor photos of themselves in a field. Justin was seen embracing Hailey’s belly, and they showed their wedding rings.
The couple opted for a simple caption for their post, merely tagging each other.
In a December 2020 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Justin said, “I’m going to have as many as Hailey wishes to push out. I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But it’s her body and whatever she wants to do… I think she wants to have a few.” This baby could be the first of several for the couple.
