IShowSpeed, primarily known for his online streaming presence, recently delivered a surprising performance at Fanatics Fest by outpunching UFC champion Alex Pereira.
Despite Pereira’s formidable reputation and a 75 percent KO/TKO rate in UFC fights, Speed scored 921 on a punching machine, surpassing Pereira’s 907. UFC CEO Dana White, present at the event, noted Speed’s impressive power.
However, this victory was not without consequences for Speed, who soon suffered intense cramps in his calves, leading to significant pain. He later described the severe tightness in his calf on his YouTube channel as unlike anything he had previously encountered. Although he eventually recovered, the experience was notably distressing.
Following the event, the 19-year-old expressed aspirations to Dana White about entering the MMA arena, even suggesting a bout against Pereira. Despite his enthusiasm, White cautioned him against such a matchup due to his lack of experience and the risks involved. Instead, White proposed Adin Ross as an alternative opponent.

Despite White’s warnings about the dangers of competing against a highly skilled fighter, Speed’s determination to face Pereira persisted. This situation underscores the potential risks for Speed should he proceed without adequate preparation.
