ISLAMABAD: Ishaq Dar diplomacy priorities came under review as the deputy prime minister chaired a high-level Foreign Office meeting on upcoming engagements.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs meeting reviewed Pakistan’s forthcoming diplomatic activities and key international interactions.
Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amina Baloch and senior Foreign Office officials attended the meeting. Officials discussed preparations linked to Pakistan’s external relations and upcoming international engagements.
Dar stressed the need for comprehensive planning and effective coordination among relevant institutions. He said coordinated preparations were needed to advance Pakistan’s political and economic interests abroad.
The deputy prime minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to an active foreign policy.

He said Pakistan would pursue economic diplomacy, strategic partnerships and multilateral cooperation. Dar also linked the approach to regional stability and the promotion of global peace.
