Inter Miami lost 4-3 to Orlando City on Saturday after blowing a 3-0 lead, marking one of the most dramatic comebacks in MLS history.
Lionel Messi set up Ian Fray’s opening goal, assisted Telasco Segovia for a second, and scored a stunning individual goal to make it 3-0 after just 33 minutes. Despite Messi’s brilliance, Miami’s defence faltered.
Orlando City responded with a stunning performance, as Martin Ojeda scored a brilliant left-footed goal before halftime, followed by another in the 68th minute. A penalty conceded by Maxi Falcon then allowed Ojeda to complete his hat-trick and tie the match.
