CHICAGO: The Indiana Fever win over the Chicago Sky ended 113-90 on August 23, with Caitlin Clark scoring 37 points at Wintrust Arena.
Clark made 13 of 24 field-goal attempts and hit eight of 12 shots from 3-point range. Kelsey Mitchell added 30 points for Indiana. She went 10-of-19 from the field and made six of nine 3-point attempts.

Carrington had drawn attention before the game after posting “8/23” on X following an August 8 meeting with Indiana.

The August 23 result prompted renewed attention to Carrington’s post because Clark made eight 3-pointers while Chicago lost by 23 points.
Indiana improved to 25-14 and clinched a WNBA playoff place, the Fever stood fifth in the standings. They were half a game behind the Atlanta Dream and two games behind the Golden State Valkyries for second place.
