Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hammad Azhar has publicly addressed the rumours linking him to the recent marriage with a female journalist.
The speculation began when journalist Najm-ul-Hassan Bajwa posted a news item on the social media platform X, claiming that a senior PTI leader from Lahore, described as “handsome,” had remarried a female journalist. The X’s post led to a flurry of comments, with many referencing Hamad Azhar.
The significant number of mentions prompted Azhar to respond directly to the platform. He humorously acknowledged the compliments embedded in the rumours, saying, “Only my name appears under this tweet. Thank you to my friends who consider me handsome.”
Regarding the rumours about his marital status, Hamad Azhar clarified, “If such an event ever occurs, I will inform all of you in a timely manner.”
