SACRAMENTO, California: A Grow with Google AI workshop will offer free, in-person training for small businesses on Thursday, September 24, at the Sacramento Central Public Library.
The “Make AI Work for You” session will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pacific time. Grow with Google is holding the workshop with GO-Biz and the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA). Sacramento Valley SBDC and the Sacramento Metro Chamber are also partners.
The event will focus on practical ways small businesses can use current AI tools in their operations. Organisers said the session is designed for newcomers while also offering material for people who already use AI.
Google’s broader “Make AI Work for You” training teaches users when and how to apply AI in business or professional work.
Its examples include brainstorming solutions, delegating delayed tasks and reducing repetitive work, according to the Google Workspace Learning Centre.

The Sacramento workshop will take place at the Tsakopoulos Galleria inside the Sacramento Central Public Library at 828 I Street.
Organisers recommend that participants bring a laptop to take part in the session. Complimentary parking will be available, and light food and refreshments will also be provided.

CalOSBA has also participated in other “Make AI Work for You” sessions aimed at helping California small businesses use AI for operations, marketing and growth.
