The government has reportedly expressed its willingness to accept three out of four demands made by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
According to sources, the government is agreed to conditionally allow PTI hold its Azadi March on August 14 in Islamabad, if Imran Khan refrained from demanding Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resignation.
Imran Khan has made four demands: reopening of 10 constituencies for vote rigging investigation, withdrawal of army deployment in Islamabad under Article 245, electoral reforms and PM’s resignation.
The demands have been conveyed to the PM by Jamaat-e-Islami leadership.
Sources said that the government is willing to accept first three demands, but with some conditions while the 4th is not open to negotiation.
