Tyson Fury has accused Anthony Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn of trying to withdraw from their December 11 fight in Cardiff. His comments follow the bout’s announcement earlier this week.
Hearn says Joshua’s contract bars Dana White and TKO Group Holdings from promoting the event. He has insisted that organisers honour those terms.
That position conflicts with the announced promotional arrangements. Netflix’s announcement names White and Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring as collaborators on the event.
Fury blamed Hearn’s dispute with White for threatening the contest. He challenged Joshua to proceed and called his fellow former heavyweight champion a “yellow-bellied coward”.
His accusation does not establish that Joshua has withdrawn.
