Flight operation resumed at the Peshawar airport which was suspended after a passenger flight of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) came under attack late yesterday night.
The airport sources told that a private airline’s flight has landed at the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar after the resumption of operations. The flight that arrived from Abu Dhabi was carrying 160 passengers.
Furthermore, a case was also registered against the unknown persons in the Budh Bair police station following the attack.
Sources also added that the search operation initiated to catch suspected persons was also concluded in Mashu Khel and Suleman Khel areas while all the entry points have re-opened after remaining sealed during the operation.
A woman was killed and two persons, including a flight steward, were wounded when a passenger flight of PIA came under attack while landing at the Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar late yesterday night.
