Karachi, Sindh: The federal government decided to replace eight Sindh police officers and asked the Sindh government to confirm their availability for transfer.
The Establishment Division wrote to the Sindh Chief Secretary on the proposed transfers. The letter said the division wanted to use the officers’ services.
The Centre withdrew the services of BS-20 Pakistan Police Service officer Muhammad Farooq Ahmad from the Sindh government.

It also recalled two BS-19 officers, Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqui and Shabbir Ahmad Sehar.
The federal government withdrew BS-18 officers Shmayal Riaz Malik, Kashif Aftab Ahmad and Saddam Hussain from the province.
The Establishment Division also directed Hafeezur Rehman and Capt (retd) Faizan Ali to report for duty.
