Islamabad’s Federal Directorate of Education has directed school teachers to attend FDE teacher training sessions in graphic design, Canva and video editing, according to a notification.
The notification said the training programme will begin on May 8 and continue until May 15 across different sectors of the federal capital.
The first workshops will be held on May 8 and May 9, falling on Friday and Saturday.
Teachers have been directed to attend the sessions even during weekly holidays. The sessions will run from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, according to the notification.
A total of 430 teachers from Model Colleges and schools will take part in the specialised workshops.
The participating teachers will come from institutions in the Urban, Sihala, Tarnol, Bhara Kahu and Nilore sectors.
The training focuses on Canva and other information technology programmes as part of digital skills development for teachers.
