In a gory incident this morning, five children were strangled to death by their own father who is believed to be mentally impaired on Friday.
Our correspondent said that the incident occurred at a village in Saeed Nizamani area of Hala, some 58 kilometers from Hyderabad.
Police said that a man named Ali Nawaz Laghari killed his five kids including three sons and two daughters.
The oldest child was a 13-year-old daughter while the youngest one was a one-year-old boy. The mother of the children was not at home at the time of the incident, police added.
Police is conducting raids to arrest the culprit who fled the scene.
