Emilia Clarke denied long-running reports that the main “Game of Thrones” cast earned $300,000 per episode during HBO’s fantasy series.
“We didn’t earn that much,” Clarke said in a new interview. The actor, who played Daenerys Targaryen, joked that she would have bought “a couple of Porsches” if the reports were true.
Clarke did not reveal her actual salary. She said the show still gave her enough financial stability to pay off her parents’ mortgage.
Clarke also rejected another fan assumption about her role on the series. She said she had no creative input on “Game of Thrones” and did not want any.
