After Prime Minister’s speech on National Assembly on Friday, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri said that he never asked the army chief for mediation in deadlock with the government.
Addressing to PAT protesters gathered in a sit-in outside Parliament House Dr. Qadri sai “If Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif did not resign by evening today, then the mediation led by army chief will not have any effect,”
He further clarified that the Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif sent us a message through an institution.
He also said that Army is unbiased and should remain independent.
He alleged that prime minister and interior minister spoke lie on floor of the National Assembly. The statement of the PM wherein he denied his role for calling army for mediation is a sheer lie, Qadri lamented
We presented before the army chief our revolution agenda, he said.
