Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has crossed $1.1 billion worldwide after four weekends in cinemas, making it the highest-grossing film of the director’s career.
The film has earned about $461.1 million in North America and another $643.6 million internationally, according to the supplied figures.
That total pushed The Odyssey past Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, which finished its worldwide theatrical run with about $1.085 billion. The milestone gives Nolan a new career box-office record.
