Child abuse cases in Karachi and Sargodha drew anger from Adnan Siddiqui, Ayesha Omar, Iqra Aziz and other celebrities after two young girls were abused and murdered.
Police in Sargodha arrested four people on Tuesday after a seven-year-old girl was found dead after going to a neighbourhood shop.
The prime suspect was later killed during an attempted escape. In Karachi, a three-year-old girl was found murdered outside her home on Wednesday.

The police surgeon described the case as one of the most horrific she had seen in her career. The girl had gone outside to play at noon. Her grandfather later found her body stuffed in a bag outside the family’s house.
Adnan Siddiqui called for predators who target children to receive the harshest punishment allowed by law.

Ushna Shah criticised the lack of meaningful action and said Pakistani society continued to blame victims. Ayesha Omar said men in the country needed to speak up and hold other men accountable.
Aiman Khan called for justice, accountability and a society where everyone feels safe. Iqra Aziz said such crimes continued because perpetrators acted with impunity.
