INDIANAPOLIS: Caitlin Clark scored 34 points and supplied 12 assists as the Indiana Fever defeated the Connecticut Sun 111-91 on Friday, August 28. Clark recorded her fifth double-double of the season and made 50% of her three-point attempts.
The performance made Clark the first Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) player to record consecutive games with at least 30 points and 10 assists.
Clark and Mitchell combined to score or assist on 92 of Indiana’s 111 points, the third-highest such single-game total in WNBA history.

She said the first 20 games had been a battle to regain confidence in her body, adding that she was now able to play without thinking as much about the issue.
Clark and Mitchell had their fourth game this season in which both scored at least 30 points, extending what it described as their WNBA single-season record for a duo. They became the first teammates in WNBA history to each score at least 30 points in consecutive games.
