The Government of Pakistan reduced the Budget 2026-27 property tax rates for filers, cutting withholding tax on purchases and sales, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb announced.
Aurangzeb said withholding tax on property purchases for filers was reduced from 2.5 percent to 1.25 percent. He also announced a cut in tax on property sales for filers from 5.5 percent to 2.75 percent.
The finance minister said the budget also abolished the super tax on income ranging from Rs. 150 million to Rs. 250 million.

He announced a reduction in advance income tax on exports from 2 percent to 1.2 percent.
Aurangzeb said the Final Tax Regime concession on IT export income will continue until June 2029
