Brock Lesnar returned to WWE during Monday Night Raw on May 18, attacking Oba Femi and setting up a special singles match at Clash in Italy.
The surprise appearance came during the Oba Femi Challenge segment. Lesnar entered the ring without warning and hit the Nigerian wrestler with multiple F5 finishers.
Femi, known in WWE as “The Ruler,” briefly recovered after the first attack before Lesnar delivered additional F5s that left the former NXT champion down in the ring.

The return followed speculation that Lesnar had retired after WrestleMania 42. WWE General Manager Adam Pearce had reportedly processed Lesnar’s retirement after the former champion left his gloves and boots in the ring, a traditional retirement gesture in professional wrestling.
Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, later handed Pearce a signed rematch contract for a bout against Oba Femi at Clash in Italy. WWE has not confirmed whether Femi formally accepted the challenge.
WWE’s inaugural Clash in Italy premium live event is scheduled for May 31 at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. Other announced matches include Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther and Roman Reigns facing Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match.
