WWE Backlash 2026 takes place Saturday at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida, with Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu.
WWE scheduled the Premium Live Event as its first major show after WrestleMania 42. The pre-show starts at 4 p.m. ET, while the main card begins at 6 p.m. ET.
The event will stream in the United States on the ESPN App through an ESPN Unlimited Plan. International viewers can watch on Netflix, while WWE.com, ESPN, YouTube and TikTok will carry the pre-show countdown.
The five-match card includes Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu for the World Heavyweight Championship, Trick Williams vs Sami Zayn for the United States Championship, Seth Rollins vs Bron Breakker, IYO SKY vs Asuka, and Danhausen with a mystery partner against The Miz and Kit Wilson.
Reigns enters the main event after winning the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42, marking his first title win in more than two years. Fatu demanded a title shot for the next night’s Raw.
Rollins faces Breakker in a feud tied to The Vision faction, where Breakker and Bronson Reed turned on him last October. Both wrestlers returned from injuries before resuming the storyline.
Williams and Zayn meet in a direct WrestleMania 42 rematch after Williams took the United States Championship from Zayn. IYO SKY and Asuka will also face off after Asuka’s betrayal in a storyline linked to their past as Triple Tails teammates.
Danhausen makes his first WWE Premium Live Event appearance in the tag match against The Miz and Kit Wilson. WWE also expects an announcement about John Cena during the show.
