Britney Spears shared and later deleted an Instagram post about her “interesting year,” her home life, and her emotional struggles.
The 44-year-old singer did not directly mention her March arrest in the post. Police arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Spears later spent three weeks in rehab for substance use. She later accepted a plea deal. The charge changed to reckless driving.
The “Toxic” singer received probation, a fine and an order to attend DUI classes.
In the Instagram post, Spears wrote about arts and crafts at home. She said she had worked on stained glass pieces and spent time in her kitchen.
The “Gimme More” singer called the kitchen an emotional place. She said it reminded her of family moments. Spears also wrote that she had dealt with “emotional issues” while making creative projects.
