TOKYO: The BINI Summer Sonic debut will feature two Mountain Stage sets in Japan. The Filipino P-pop group will perform in Osaka on Friday and Tokyo on Sunday.
BINI will play from 2:40 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Japan Standard Time on August 14. The Osaka set starts at 10:40 a.m. Pakistan Standard Time at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park.
The group’s Tokyo performance runs from 3:30 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. JST on August 16. Organizers will stage it within the Makuhari Messe and ZOZO Marine Stadium festival site.
BINI posted airport departure images on its Instagram account on August 12. The group comprises Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena.

Summer Sonic’s official website lists BINI for the festival’s 25th-anniversary edition. The three-day event also features Filipino group SB19 and Filipino-Japanese singer-songwriter Ena Mori.

The appearance follows BINI’s recent US dates on its “Signals” world tour. ABS-CBN said the group will resume the tour in Vancouver on August 18.
