Islamabad: Balochistan development, public welfare and federation-provincial coordination were discussed during a meeting between Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday.
Officials said the meeting also reviewed national and provincial affairs, development initiatives and matters of mutual interest.
Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Mir Saleem Khan Khosa also attended the meeting. The participants discussed steps to strengthen communication between the federation and Balochistan.
They also reviewed progress on development projects and measures linked to public welfare. Officials said the meeting focused on challenges facing Balochistan and long-term solutions for the province’s residents.

The participants agreed to strengthen democratic institutions, parliamentary cooperation and national unity.
They said federal and provincial stakeholders should work together to address Balochistan’s challenges and accelerate development.
Sadiq praised the provincial government’s efforts to promote development, peace and stability in Balochistan.
