Azerbaijan beat Ukraine 2-0 in the EMF Euro 2026 final at Tipos Sport Arena in Bratislava to win the European minifootball title for the second time.
Mirmehdi Rzayev opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a low shot from distance. Isa Atayev sealed the win in added time by scoring into an empty net from Azerbaijan’s half.
The victory gave Azerbaijan another European title under head coach Elshad Guliyev. The team first won the continental crown in Slovakia in 2022.
Azerbaijan reached the final after beating defending champions Serbia in a semifinal penalty shootout. The match ended 1-1, with Azerbaijan winning 3-1 on penalties.
The team also beat Austria 1-0, Italy 3-0 and France 3-2 in the group stage. It then defeated Kazakhstan 3-2 in the last 16 and the Czech Republic 5-2 in the quarterfinals.
Ukraine reached its first European Minifootball Championship final under Oleksandr Bondar after beating Hungary 5-1 in the semifinal.

Azerbaijan entered the final as reigning world champion and left Bratislava as European champion again.
