2026 FIFA World Cup odds list Spain and France as joint favourites at +475 before the 48-team tournament begins on June 11 in North America.
The tournament will be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States and will feature 104 matches under FIFA’s expanded format. The final is scheduled for July 19.
France entered the tournament after reaching the 2022 World Cup final and winning the 2024-25 UEFA Nations League. Spain remains among the leading contenders after winning Euro 2024.
England is listed at +650, Brazil at +850 and defending champions Argentina at +900. Brazil remain the most successful team in World Cup history with five titles, followed by Germany and Italy with four each.
The historical filters leave Argentina, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain as the strongest remaining contenders. It noted that only teams from Europe and South America have won the World Cup.
The 2026 format has 12 groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group and the eight best third-placed sides will advance to the knockout stage.

Mexico will face South Africa in the opening match on June 11 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
